Mill Girls Cutlery & Kitchenware won second place in the E for All #ShopLocal pitch contest! I used the $750 in prize money to fly to Chicago for the International Home & Housewares Show with my mentor, Jason Dillman, from Casco Bay Cutlery & Kitchenware. This was an amazing opportunity. I’d like to extend many thanks to everyone that came to the pitch contest and supported Mill Girls! And a big THANK YOU! to Santander Bank, the sponsor of the event!!
While in Chicago, Jason introduced me to many of his suppliers and together we met some new vendors. It was an absolute whirlwind, but I came home with my suitcase full of catalogs and my head full of ideas! There’s so many amazing products that I can’t wait to bring to Lowell.
I’m excited to announce that I’ve been selected to pitch Mill Girls Cutlery & Kitchenware as one of eight featured entrepreneurs competing in E for All‘s #ShopLocal Lowell/Lawrence pitch contest! Please join me at Mill No. 5 this Thursday, February 22 (please click here to RSVP), from 6 to 8 PM, or, if you can’t make it check out the Mill Girls Facebook Page for a live stream of our pitch!
For those of you able to attend, I’ll have a table set up showcasing some great cutlery and kitchenware products we’re planning on carrying in the store. However, we also want to hear from the community about what YOU would like to see us carry! Please visit me at the Mill Girls table this Thursday, and/or click over to the “Contact Us” page on this site to share your thoughts. We can’t wait to hear from you!
I’ll see you Thursday at Mill No. 5!
